In case of an emergency
Indivuals may go to the emergency room of their nearest hospital, to the Douglas Institute emergency or in a community crisis centre. They can also reach Info-Santé by dialing 811. If the situation is not urgent, individuals must get a reference from their doctor or go to the “accueil psychosocial” (entry point) of their CLSC.

The Douglas Institute does not provide assessment or consultation services over the phone or by e-mail to people who have not been referred to or who are not being followed by a clinical program at the Douglas Institute.
