Nursing Staff
Occupations in nursing are a professional resource of high value for patients and their families. Following the McGill nursing model, Douglas nurses have the necessary autonomy to treat patients according to the model of "integrated care".
Administrative staff members contribute to
the effective operations of the Institute.
With an essential focus on customer service,
they participate in maintaining a healthy
and respectful working climate.
Health professionals and technicians include
for instance dietary technicians, social workers,
psychoeducators, physiothrapists, respiratory
therapists, electrophysiology technicians,
psychologists, neuropsychologists, occupational
therapists.
People who perform auxiliary services or technical trades ensure that the physical environment is always clean, warm and welcoming for all cliens and employees. These staff members include plumbers, painters, electricians, storekeeper, linen service technicians, housekeeping staff and cafeteria staff.
