Eric Latimer, PhD, researcher at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute, a constituent institution of the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux (CIUSSS) de l’Ouest-de-l’Île de Montréal, was awarded the Montréal Centre-Ville 2015 prize in the Event category. This award is intended to highlight the precision and quality of the work conducted by Eric Latimer in his role as the co-director and scientific director of the I Count MLT 2015 project, the first such count of homeless people in Montreal.

Let’s remember that on July 7th, last, the City of Montreal presented the results of the homeless count on the island of Montreal, which was conducted last March under the leadership of Eric Latimer and James McGregor. This work made it possible to assess the number of homeless people at 3,016 on the island of Montreal.

Congratulations to Eric Latimer for this well-deserved award!
