Profile

Marie-Josée Fleury, PhD, joined the Douglas Institute Research team in 1999 after earning her doctorate in public health with a specialization in organizational health studies from the Université de Montréal. She has since then been associated with the Services, Policy and Population Health Research Theme, which focuses on the functioning and impact of policy, services and program treatments in the mental health care system.

Marie-Josée Fleury is directing several research projects on the integration of health services networks in Quebec. Her fields of expertise are mainly concerned with issues of healthcare system organizations and evaluation of mental health services.

More broadly, her lines of research are related to health systems analysis, policy research, studies on inter-organizational exchange, continuity of care and implementation of change, as well as vocational rehabilitation programs and other community integrative strategies.

Marie-Josée Fleury sits on the Quebec Primary Care Committee and is a consultant for the Health and Welfare Commissioner. She also takes part in the "Evergreen-For the Youth" committee with the Mental Health Commission of Canada and is a member of the scientific committee "Prends Soin de Toi".
