|A functional magnetic resonance imaging study with first degree relatives of suicide completers|
Principal investigator : Fabrice Jollant
This imaging study concerns first degree relatives of suicide completers, i.e. biological brother or sister, biological parents or biological children.
Our aim is to explore whether the brain activity of first degree relatives of suicide completers is similar to that of people who have attempted suicide.
The aim of the study is to examine why different people are affected differently by stressful situations and the brain regions involved. In short, this study will enable us to further our understanding of the vulnerability to suicide.
