Dissociating memory performance during normal aging

Description of the study :

The purpose of this study is to understand how age-related changes relate to memory for temporal and spatial details of past events. To achieve this, participants undertake a face memory task. Participation in this study is requested because it will contribute to our understanding of memory for different types of contextual details, in healthy adults.

Eligibility criteria :

To participate in this study, subjects should:

  • Be healthy and not currently taking any medication
  • Be between the ages of 40-55 years of age
  • Be capable of undergoing a 2 hour mock MRI
