Claudette Allard became president of the Douglas Institute Board of Directors in December 2003. She has been a board member since 1999. Ms. Allard has practiced business and tax law for twenty years and is a senior partner with the law firm of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin, LLP. She is also a lecturer in tax law at McGill University. Before her law studies, Ms. Allard worked for four years as a social worker in a centre for emotionally disturbed youth.
