Administrative Director, Research Centre, Douglas Institute
With a background as a medical doctor along with a master's degree in project management, Jocelyne Lahoud has worked as the Administrative Director of the Douglas Institute Research Centre since 1999. Her role is to oversee the Research Centre's administrative management and day-to-day operations.
Since she was hired, Jocelyne Lahoud has been involved in implementing the Research Centre's development plan as required by the Fonds de la recherche en santé du Québec (FRSQ). She participates in a number of strategic exercises to gain recognition for the Research Centre and the Institute.
In 2006, Jocelyne Lahoud was responsible for carrying out the strategic planning exercise for the Douglas Institute in collaboration with the Assistant to the Director General. This work earned her the President's Award from the Board of Directors of the Institute.
Jocelyne Lahoud continues to ensure that the Research Centre operates effectively and that its human, financial and material resources are managed soundly. She is particularly interested in the development of research and its integration into clinical services.
