Willine R. Rozefort, MD, is a Certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and a Member of the Medical Council of Canada. She is also a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and holds a master's degree in community health and a management certificate in health services. The CLSC Villeray has benefited from Dr. Rozefort's professional contribution to frontline services for many years. For three years, she served as Chair of the Council of Physicians, Dentists and Pharmacists at this CLSC, and for nearly fifteen years, she has been a member of its Evaluation Committee (Medical Act), which she currently chairs. Dr. Rozefort also sits on the Clinical Ethics Committee of the CSSS du Cœur-de-l’Île.
She has supported her colleagues in remote regions through her work in emergency rooms for over fifteen years. Since 2006, she has conducted professional inspection visits for the Collège des médecins du Québec as part of an expert medical team. She is also a physician examiner for the certification examination of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been a surveyor for Accreditation Canada since 2008. Since arriving at the Douglas Institute in 1997, she has always placed particular emphasis on the quality of care provided to patients. As Chief of the Douglas Institute's Department of General Medicine from 2004 to 2009, Dr. Rozefort stood out through her various approaches guided above all by a desire to continuously improve care quality.
