Profile

Camillo Zacchia received a PhD in clinical psychology from McGill University in 1987. Today, as senior advisor for the Mental Health Education Office (MHEO), he coordinates and develops training programs for the general public and our partners.

Camillo Zacchia is vice-chair of the board for the organization Phobies-Zéro and was chair of the Douglas Clinical Ethics Committee from 2003 to 2010.

Camillo Zacchia is an occasional contributor to The Gazette and publishes a column in the Métro newspaper every second Tuesday. This paper is distributed free of charge to all Montréal metro users. His book Parts of life is available on our online store.

Camillo Zacchia also writes a blog Psychospeak with Dr. Z which brings together scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and common sense to the world around us.
