The objective of the European Psychiatrist Association (EPA) is to establish an association of French and German psychiatrists, which would promote european psychiatry in the fields of research, treatment and teaching.
CIHR Bisby Award : Carl Ernst PhD
Scientist of the year : Gustavo Turecki MD, PhD
The radio show Les années lumière awards the title of Radio-Canada Scientist of the Year to researchers whose work has marked the previous year. Michael Meaney and Gustavo Turecki shared this title in 2009 for their discovery of the epigenetic effects of child abuse on the human brain.
