Many organizations, public institutions and bodies from a wide range of sectors take an active part in our program and keep an eye on our work with interest. The common projects we share with these partners aim to:

  • Strengthen the bonds through joint activities gathering people from various backgrounds
  • Sustain a preventive approach of challenging behaviors
  • Bring knowledge and practice together
  • Disseminate our research work

Our partners regroup people and organizations who developed areas of clinical or research expertise relevant to our line of work:

Our members actively commit on various platforms, allowing for knowledge dissemination and to elaborate on the varying points of view on the observations and interpretations in terms of intervention. Here are some of these platforms:

  • Table de concertation justice-DITED de Montréal : This issue table regroups representatives from service users, relatives, health and social services, community groups, public safety and advocacy, who agreed to a collaborative arrangement to insure support and respect of individual rights.
  • Table intersectorielle de psychiatrie légale de Montréal : Stakeholders from hospitals, housing resources, addiction services, legal aid, CSSS, detention centers, SPVM, law courts and administrative tribunals take part in this gathering. The round table is meant to aid in conjugating resources between legal, correctional and health and social services networks. It seeks to generate an integrated approach between these networks for the stakeholders to engage in improved collaborative work and services.
  • Comité de réseautage interrégional en psychiatrie légale du Québec: This forensic psychiatry networking committee brings together specialists from each of Quebec’s administrative region to share best practices in forensic mental health. Its purpose is to encourage provincial networking and to promote communities of practice and program co-development on the psychosocial-justice interface.
