The Douglas Institute congratulates an invaluable partner in the fight against homelessness: on October 16, the Maison du Père received an Honourable Mention from the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux for its project “Soins de santé de proximité pour hommes itinérants” (outreach health care for homeless men). Through a collaborative effort between the CSSS Jeanne-Mance and Douglas Institute, outreach care and services are provided by the network to homeless men.
