The Minister of Health announced today the appointment of Lynne McVey as the Associate President-Director General of the Montreal-West-Island IUHSSC. This appointment follows that of the President and Executive Director, Mr. Benoit Morin, announced on March 6th

Upon her appointment, Lynne McVey reiterated her pride in being able to maintain her contribution by working on improving access to healthcare for the population of the Montreal West Island as well as for all others for whom the Montreal-West-Island IUHSSC has obligations.

“I am very happy and privileged to support the President and Executive Director of our IUHSSC, Benoit Morin, in improving knowledge and best practices for the greater benefit of the physical and mental health of the population of our region and of Quebec as a whole. I believe we are well positioned to successfully implement the reform together thanks mainly to the high level of expertise and experience of the people within our IUHSSC, to be grouped together on April 1st, and the McGill RUIS.”

Lynne McVey reputation is well established in the network for promoting patient-centered care and delivering expected results. This appointment is a clear testimony to her contribution throughout the past 30 years in both physical and mental health, management and process improvement.
