Like all other healthcare establishments, the Douglas Institute follows the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS). The Pandemic Plan has been deployed across the Institute and the Pandemic Plan Management Committee has been mobilized.

Prevention

All visitors who enter and leave the Institute premises must follow the usual prevention and hygiene measures according to the Ministry of Health and Social Services guidelines.

Wash your hands often and thoroughly in warm, soapy water or use hand sanitizer. At the Douglas Institute, hand antiseptic distributors have been set up at the entrance of each building and at various strategic locations on the campus.

Cough and sneeze in your arm, not your hand.
