The Wellington Centre is a psychosocial rehabilitation and community support centre (SPECTRUM) aimed at demystifying mental illness and educate those with severe mental health disorders.

The Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Specialized Housing Program helps adults of any age with a severe mental disorder return to and stay in the community.

The aims of the studies on suicide among aboriginal people by the MGSS.

The MGSS conducts extensive work investigating clinical and behavioral factors increasing risk for suicidal behaviors.

The lab team studies the effect of prenatal stress on childhood development and the various risk factors associated with schizophrenia.  

The MGSS is made up of independent investigators, research associates, graduate PhD and MSc level students, and research collaborators.

Treating psychosis involves education, counselling, medication, close monitoring of symptoms, stress management, and a strong, supportive environment.

The Prevention and Early Intervention Program for Psychosis (PEPP-Montréal) is a program for young people who are experiencing an untreated first episode of psychosis.
