The Eating Disorders Program,  a leader in finding effective treatments, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

Understanding eating disorders and their causes is essential to preventing and treating them.

Since its creation in 1986, the Eating Disorders Program (EDP) has offered specialized clinical services for people 18 years and older who suffer from anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa.

Classes are held every Tuesdays at 7 PM, from October 23 to November 27, 2007. They were overseen by Hani Iskandar, MD, Clinical Chief at Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit and Coordinator in Undergraduate Medical Education at Douglas I

Fellowships provide support for senior residents who wish to add to their experience by engaging in mental health research and related activities in the Institute. Candidacy must be approved by the Chair of Psychiatry.

Directed by Natalie Grizenko, MD, and Ridha Joober, MD, PhD, the laboratory studies the genetic and pharmacogenetic aspects of psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, ADHD and eating disorders.
