Henri-François Gautrin, Lynne McVey and Alain Gratton, PhD

Ms. Lynne McVey, Executive Director of the Douglas Mental Health University Institute, and Mr. Alain Gratton, Interim Scientific Director, had the honour of welcoming to the Douglas Mr. Henri-François Gautrin, MNA for Verdun, who announced on behalf of Dr. Yves Bolduc, Minister of Health and Social Services, that a $278,800 grant would be awarded to the Douglas for research.

Part of this money will go to Antoine Adamantidis for his studies to understand the brain mechanisms that control the sleep/wake cycle. Another part was awarded to Antoine Bechara and his team to help set up their research laboratory.
