Marie-Thérèse Fortin and her guests presented:

"Ceci n’est pas un spectacle, ceci est notre cause” (This is not a show, this is our cause)

On Sunday, September 7, 2014, the Douglas Foundation, in collaboration with actress Marie-Thérèse Fortin and her many guests, presented the first edition of this one-of-a-kind benefit performance. The show was performed flawlessly in the Grande Bibliothèque de Montréal (BAnQ) auditorium thanks to the venue team’s exceptional coordination skills. More than 200 guests attended the event to support better mental health.

Marie-Thérèse Fortin generously gave her time to put together a wonderful production with help from many of her colleagues, including:

Janine Sutto, Guylaine Tremblay, Daniel Bélanger, Les Belles-Soeurs, Monique Fauteux of Harmonium, Chrystine Brouillet, Émilie Bibeau, Sophie Desmarais, Bruno Marcil, François Arnaud, Guillaume Tremblay, Marie-France Lambert, Éric Paulhus, Renaud Paradis, Chloé Lacasse and Céline Lacerte-Lamontagne. The performers were accompanied by pianists Yves Léveillé, Stéphane Aubin and Philippe Prud’Homme. Jean Gaudreau was in charge of sound, Philippe Drago of video, and Catherine Desjardins-Joli was production manager.
