Collaborating researchers in our group bring an expertise of their own and reflect the team belonging to local and national networks. They provide with considerable know-how in terms of continuous updating of knowledge and methodology and play a key role in sharing and disseminating results in both academic and clinical areas.

Marc Daigle, PhD 
Researcher at the Institut Philippe-Pinel de Montréal research center (IPPM) and full professor at Department of Psychology at l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR). He developed a wide clinical and research expertise in prison settings, youth centers and evaluation of programs, especially in the field of suicide prevention and challenging behavior.

Éric Latimer, PhD
Researcher at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and professor at the Department of Psychiatry of McGill University. Health economist, his area of research particularly addresses community services for people with mental health issues.

Yona Lunsky, PhD 
Researcher at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and associate professor at Department of Psychiatry at University of Toronto (UofT). Her main area of expertise is mental disorders and legal problems in adults with intellectual disabilities or pervasive developmental disorders. She is especially interested in how services are rendered for and used by these populations.

Daphné Morin, M.A.
Research and innovation consultant at the Rehabilitation Centre for Intellectual Disability and Pervasive Developmental Disorders (CRDITED). Her collaborative work primarily focuses on knowledge transfer between research and practice networks. She also has a strong expertise in qualitative analysis and program evaluation.

Tonia Nicholls, PhD 
Researcher at BC Mental Health & Addictions Research Institute and associate professor at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British-Columbia (UBC). She is an expert on gender differences in mental health and justice issues, victimization of persons with mental disorders, assessment and management of challenging behaviors, among other themes.

Renée Proulx, PhD
Director of research and knowledge transfer at CRDITED and associate professor at Social and Public Communication Department at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Her work revolves around implementation and evaluation of knowledge transfer strategies in the field of intellectual disabilities and pervasive developmental disorders.

Laurence Roy, PhD
Assistant professor at the Occupational Therapy program, McGill’s University, researcher at Douglas Mental Health University Institute (DMHUI). Among other programs, she currently researches judiciary and victimization trajectories of homeless persons with mental disorders through a housing support project, the At Home program.
