As a Douglas 'alumnus' [6 years an outpatient and 4 months in-patient treatment); in my fifth decade of life, a student of law in a large Western Canadian city (my lowest grade is a "B"); and a volunteer in a local First Nation-Crown Attorney's office collaborative program bringing restorative justice systems to criminal offenders, I am writing, on reflection, to pass along a story.
