The third cross-training session organized at the Douglas Institute took place last May 27th. Its objective was to examine the evaluation and risk management of violent behavior in persons with mental health and substance abuse disorders, and to give participants of varied backgrounds the chance to meet each other and to share different points of view.

Some stat:

• 2 conferences;
• 12 workshops;
• 185 specialists of mental health (45 from the Douglas Institute), substance abuse and public security;
• 47 different organizations.

This third session seems to have been appreciated by all the participants: about eight out of ten declared in their evaluation questionnaire that the session met their expectations.
