The 3rd Meet & Greet the Police was a resounding success! Over 200 people, the vast majority patients, came to the BBQ and some even played soccer with police officers from Postes de quartier 13, 15 and 16.

Congratulations to the Greens and Blues for their performance, despite the heat!

This year the Douglas was honoured with a visit from Montreal Police Chief Marc Parent, who served up cake alongside Executive Director Lynne McVey. Two SPVM cavalry horses attended the festivities as did Flik, the SPVM mascot.

Liz Huk, the organizer, wishes to thank the SPVM police officers and also the teams from the Psychotic Disorders Program, security, the Roberts Centre, communications and technical services for making this event a success. A big thanks also goes out to food services for providing such a beautiful cake.
