This award acknowledges a geriatric psychiatrist who has made a significant contribution to the development of geriatric psychiatry in Canada in education, research or service delivery throughout his/her career. It is awarded by the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry.

This annual prize is given by the Association des médecins psychiatres du Québec to a psychiatrist whose carreer has contributed to the advancement of his profession.
